Our first product is called State Bird Seed and was made in collaboration with James Beard award-winning chefs Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski of Michelin-starred State Bird Provisions in San Francisco. Pilot client Beboe launched its first products in its founders' trademark style at a celebrity-studded party in West Hollywood yesterday. It's not often that Orlando Bloom, Sharon Stone and Justin Theroux are the first ones to sample the product. We're grateful and humbled to have been able to work with Scott and Clement to infuse their elevated taste into a product worthy of the packaging Scott designed.

At the 7th Annual Taste Awards held in San Francisco, Crafted won the Taste Award for Best Short Film or Documentary. Pilot R&D Co-Founders Dana Peck and Ali Bouzari were on site to receive the award on behalf of the Crafted team. This was a Viewer's Choice award, so we are tremendously honored that the viewers chose to reconigze the incredible colloboration that culminated in Crafted.
Today Eater National proclaimed what the rest of the Pilot R&D team has known for some time--Single Thread, the restaurant, farm and inn project by Pilot R&D Co-Founder Kyle Connaughton and his wife Katina Connaughton, is the biggest opening of 2016. We could not be prouder to be a part of this project and have seen first hand from the beginning the level of hard work and devotion contributed by the Single Thread team.
