Dana Peck is the Chief Executive Officer and a Co-Founder of Pilot R&D. Dana brings to Pilot a diverse business and legal background with expertise in corporate law, advising startups, business strategy, retail planning, forecasting and inventory management, and food.
Most recently, Dana was a corporate associate at the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster LLP where she focused on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, joint ventures and general corporate governance. While at MoFo, Dana worked with a variety of food, wine, and technology companies advising on legal and strategy matters from the startup phase through financing rounds and later stage mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to graduate school, Dana was at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., where she was responsible for financial planning and forecasting, managing vendor relationships and execution of her product categories.
Dana's borderline obsession with food began with her first cooking class at Tavern on the Green in New York at age 5. She spent her summers in high school in the pastry kitchen of One Michelin Star Gramercy Tavern under Claudia Fleming. Since then Dana has staged for Larry Hayden at Union Square Café, Elizabeth Falkner at Citizen Cake and Orson, and Alex Stupak at One Michelin Star WD-50.
Dana holds a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan.
